Experience: Darren Day brings almost three decades of recruitment experience, spanning global STEM markets including aerospace, engineering, life sciences and energy. His delivery experience is both geographically diverse and commercially significant, covering projects across the UK, US, Middle East, and Australia with revenues ranging from £100k to £6.5m. Throughout his career at STR, he has progressed through multiple senior roles including Director of Sales and Chief Operating Officer, developing deep expertise across contract, permanent and outsourced workforce solutions.
Leadership: As Chief Executive Officer, he leads multi-functional teams across sales, operations and shared services, scaling from small specialist groups to large international teams of over 125. His leadership is defined by building high-performing, empowered teams and delivering complex, multi-phase projects globally. He has played a pivotal role in unifying leadership structures and strengthening governance, while focusing on developing a resilient leadership team capable of supporting sustained business growth.
