Experience: Clive Hutchings, Founder of STR, has nearly 30 years of recruitment experience across a wide range of sectors including IT, engineering, life sciences and healthcare. He has extensive expertise in building markets from the ground up and delivering both permanent and contract recruitment solutions globally. His international experience spans Europe, the US, Asia and beyond, reflecting a career defined by entrepreneurial growth and global market development.
Leadership: As a central figure in STR’s evolution, Clive has held multiple leadership roles across the business, from Consultant through to CEO and now Executive Director. His leadership has been instrumental in shaping the organisation’s strategy, culture and resilience, including navigating challenging market conditions and driving recovery and growth. His appointment to the REC Board further reflects his industry influence and leadership standing.
